Launch of Junior Shufflers
We are very excited to announce that we will soon be launching a junior section of the club.

Final 2019 Woodbridge 10k Results
The final results of the 2019 Woodbridge 10k and Junior races have been published and are available from the links below:
Unfortunately there are only gun times due a technical issue at the start line caused by underground cables meaning that the race chips weren’t picked. We apologise that we won’t be able to supply these for this year and steps will be taken to avoid this situation next year.
Well done again to all that ran this years race and we hope to see you again at the race next year. Race information and entry details will be published on our website in early 2020.
Provisional 2019 Woodbridge 10k Results
Thank you to all runners, volunteers and supporters that have been out at the 2019 Woodbridge 10k. The Woodbridge Shufflers hope you have had a great race and that you have enjoyed the day. Provisional results for the two races are available here:
If you spot any inaccuracies in these results then please let us know via the racedirector@woodbridgeshufflers.org.uk email address. Thank you for again for your support and the generosity of the sponsors that meant that £12,000 could be donated to charity this year.
Woodbridge Shufflers in the 2019 London Marathon
The Woodbridge Shufflers have three runners entered into the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon which will be run on the 28th April:
- Heather Noone – 35 years old, 3rd marathon and first London through the championship entry, target time sub 3 hours following her recent success at the Kent Spring marathon which she won in 2:49.32 beating her closest rival by 14 minutes.
- Matthew Hunt – 42 years old and completed his first marathon in Edinburgh 2012. Has since run 12 road marathons and set a PB of 2:38 in Valencia in 2014. This year will be Matt’s sixth appearance at London.
- Dr Ben Solway – 53 years old, 15th marathon, running for Woodbridge Shufflers in the club allocated place and raising money for MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association ). Ben is hoping for a sub 4 hour finish time.
This follows a considerable number of marathon successes for the Club over the last month at Manchester, Brighton, Paris and Boston .
Notes for 2019 Entry into the Woodbridge Round-the-Town Races
A reminder that entry to the Woodbridge 10k and Junior Races opens on Saturday 9th March at noon. Links to the entry system will be posted on the Woodbridge 10k website

Both the 10k and junior races are extremely popular so be ready to go once the entries open! Some things to note to help you get your entry in:
- 10k entry is £17 for Affiliated Runners and £20 for Unaffiliated Runners. Entries to the 1.5km junior race will be £6.
- Ensure you have your URN (unique runners’ number issued by England Athletics through an affiliated club) if you want to take advantage of the affiliated club discount
- You will be able to select your T-shirt size on the entry form – as a guide chest sizes for the different sizes are Children’s = 30″, XS = 32″ S = 34″ M = 36″ L = 38-40″ XL = 42-44″
If you are asking someone to put your entry on your behalf, please make sure they have your full contact details (address, phone and email), date of birth and running club/URN if you an affiliated runner and t-shirt size from the list above.
And finally please remember we don’t allow transfers, deferred entry or refunds in the case you are no longer able to race.
