Woodbridge Shufflers at the London Marathon

A number of Woodbridge Shufflers joined 60,000 people who ran the London Marathon in April.

Andy Hendry, who raised money for SENSE (pictured) said “What an amazing experience – definitely will be signing up next year.”

Neil Carter (pictured) who secured his place in the Shufflers Ballot said “So grateful for the club place, it was definitely different to the other events I’ve done”

Becca Piercy said afterwards “I’m so pleased it’s over – it was absolutely amazing and I’m inagony!”

Tom Wake was the quickest Shuffler, finishing in an incredible time of 2 hours 49 minutes.

Peter Osborne and Anna Tatton-Brown were other Shufflers who completed this year’s London marathon. Quite a few of the club’s runners have already entered the national ballot to try to secure a place for 2025 along with over 800,000 other people.

The club’s runners also take part in marathons that take place across the country and around the world. Individual training plans created by the club coaches help runners prepare for each race.
