Sunday 8th May 2022 saw the long anticipated return of the Woodbridge 10k race.

The 40th anniversary event, postponed for the past 2 years due to the pandemic, is an enormously popular local spectacle and the people of Woodbridge came out in their droves to cheer on the runners; further helped by some glorious sunny spring weather.

The event saw a 663 adults taking part, and a further 108 junior runners in their own 1.5k run.

What a beautiful day to hold such a wonderful race down at the waterfront in Ipswich.  With so many gathering to compete and more coming to support and cheer the runners on it was a great atmosphere on race day.
