Woodbridge Shufflers Finalists in the Suffolk Coastal Business Community Awards

scba2015The Woodbridge Shufflers were proud finalists at the Suffolk Coastal Business Community Awards held on 12th March 2015. The club was a finalist in the ‘Charity Champion’ category thanks to their sterling efforts in raising thousands of pounds for local charity through the annual Woodbridge 10K race.

Over the last 10 years the club has donated £52,000 to various charities through the proceeds of the race. Since the inaugural race back in 1981, it is estimated that a total of nearly £80,000 has been donated by the club to good causes.

Although disappointed not too win, it was great recognition for the club to be recognised for the support we have given to local charities over the years. The charity donations will continue with the ever popular race going from strength to strength every year.
